" As letras desse álbum foram escritas bem no começo pandemia, quando em meio a todo o caos, tive a visão de contar um pouco sobre alguns heróis e heroínas pretos daqui dessa diáspora Brasil, algo que não vemos muito nas escolas, por muito tempo no reggae falamos de Haile Selassie, Marcus Garvey e outros líderes em nossas letras, mas me perguntei e os daqui dessa diáspora Brasil? o que vamos deixar para a próxima geração? já que o reggae também tem a função de informar, foi quando me perguntei e comecei a escrever, músicas que não falam só sobre mim, músicas que contam histórias de grandes guerreiros e guerreiras que lutaram contra a opressão, escravidão, colonização e racismo. "

"The lyrics of this album were written right at the beginning of the pandemic when, amidst all the chaos, I had a vision to shed some light on black heroes and heroines from the Brazilian diaspora. This is something we don't often see in our schools. For a long time in reggae, we've spoken about Haile Selassie, Marcus Garvey, and other leaders in our lyrics. But I asked myself, what about those from the Brazilian diaspora? What will we leave for the next generation? Since reggae also serves the purpose of informing, that's when I started writing songs that don't just revolve around me but tell the stories of great warriors who fought against oppression, slavery, colonization, and racism."
